The following article is designed to help answer any questions you may have about a refund from Festicket.
Please note we are currently deal with a high volume of refunds following events being cancelled or postponed owing to Corona virus outbreak. Our team is working as quickly as possible to get customers any refunds and we really appreciate your patience here.
When am I entitled to a refund?
Every festival is different, and may therefore have a different stance on refunds. We will work alongside each festival to clarify their position on refunds, and once authorised by them, we will be in touch with all customers to share the promoter’s refund process and timeline.
Our refund process
Once the supplier finalises the process, refunds are processed automatically so customers do not have to take any further action.
Festicket release funds fairly quick (3-5 days to process) and we'll email you when these are ready. Usually, it can take up to 7 - 10 working days for the funds to show in your account, but this depends on how quick your card issuer processes the payment back to you.
Refunds are returned to the account you used to pay with unless otherwise agreed.
If you purchased via PayPal, we will refund your PayPal account.
Refund amount
As a ticketing agent, we do not take any of the face value of your ticket orders and rely on our fees in order to fund our operations. As a result, we must retain these to continue to cover the huge increase in our fixed costs (staff, software, payment & refund processing fees, etc.) and keep the platform operating. Without them, there would be no Festicket. We hope you understand.
In some, rare cases we may charge a further fee to cover the cost of processing a refund.
Payment Plan order refunds
If you have failed to make an instalment payment on your payment plan order, in line with our Booking Terms, unfortunately, you are not entitled to a refund.
For any payment plan order where an event is cancelled, we will refund you excluding all fees due on your order.
Why have I only been refunded part of my order?
You will have been refunded your order face value, meaning we retain our fees (part of our T&C's which are available before purchasing).
We also do not refund Booking Protect.
In some, rare cases we may charge a further fee to cover the cost of processing a refund.
If you purchased using our instalment plan, we have refunded you what you have already paid, excluding all fees.
