What happens with my tickets?
The great news is the Promoter has instructed its authorised ticketing agents that, tickets will be automatically transferred to the new dates and you need to take no further action for this. Should you not be able to attend in 2021, you are entitled to resell your ticket. Rolling Loud will delay putting any tickets on sale until September 2020 in order to give ticket holders as much time as possible to resell tickets. The Promoter based their instructions following the recent Portuguese Decree-Law DL 10I/2020, which applies to all events taking place in Portuguese venues. Rolling Loud’s 2020 venue is situated at Praia da Rocha, Portimão, Portugal.
As an authorised agent, we are contractually obliged to act upon the Promoter instructions.
Why can’t I have a refund?
Here is the official statement from the festival organiser on their ticket refund policy:
Along with many other countries, the Portuguese Government has passed many emergency laws to protect the survival of the industries that make up its economy whilst still protecting the rights of the consumer.
These laws and measures have been put in place in the interest of protecting the many thousands of people who rely on live events, including but not limited to the artists, venues, festivals, stage builders, technical and production teams, suppliers, bar staff, security, hotels, restaurants, and in general the thousands of people involved in the industry, including the fans.
Following this advice, Rolling Loud Portugal will be postponed to the new date of 6th, 7th, and 8th July 2021 and to this end, and in line with Rolling Loud's ticketing T&C’s we will not be issuing refunds.
