Customers need to activate their tickets and download them before they go to the festival. The best way to do this is through the Festicket app which you can find on your app store.
You are now able to activate your tickets, and should have received an email with the link to do this.
This article contains information for if you are having trouble with activating your tickets. Once they have been activated, the bar codes will be available 48 hours before the event starts.
How do I activate my tickets?
If you log in to your account, either on the app or on a web browser, and go to your bookings page and your Afro Nation Portugal order - you will see all the tickets on the order, including if they have been activated or not.
If you click 'Activate' on a ticket, you can either fill in the information and activate the ticket yourself
or send the ticket to a friend, who will then be able to log in with their email address and activate the ticket.
How do I get access to my tickets?
Once the tickets have been activated, the bar codes will be available 48 hours before the event starts. If you have sent any tickets to friends, those bar codes will only be available on your friend's app.
How can I change the names on the tickets?
The names can be added only once, during the activation process.
If you have experienced any issues with regards to entering names onto your order of your fellow guests please note we are aware and you will be able to reactivate your tickets in 72 hours. However, if you do still have any issues after this time please do let us know with the error you have received and the device you have used and we would be happy to help.

Where do I get the cashless wristband?
You will receive your cashless wristband when your ticket is scanned at the festival.
I can't activate my tickets
If you have trouble activating your tickets and you are logged in to the correct Festicket account, please update the latest version of the app, or uninstall the Festicket app and install it again. This should solve most issues.
If not, double check that you are not in dark mode on your phone (if you are using your phone to activate) as this might cause the issue. You can put your phone in light mode just while you do this (you just need to go to settings > display > light mode.

I want a refund because the event was postponed last year
Please note, all customers were emailed in July 2021 and given a two week window to fill out a form and request a refund. We are no longer accepting responses as it is past the deadline. If you do wish to correspond regarding this matter further you would be required to contact the Promoter directly, their email address is email@example.com.
